• Hegemony: Cultural hegemony refers to the dominance of one culture or set of cultural values over others.
• Orientalism: Orientalism contributed to the cultural hegemony of the West, whereby Western values, perspectives, and representations were imposed on and dominated Eastern cultures.
• Eurocentrism: Eurocentrism is a form of cultural hegemony, where the dominance of Western cultures and values is naturalized and presented as universal or superior.
• Westernization: Westernization can be seen as a form of cultural hegemony, where Western culture dominates and marginalizes other cultures.
